How we handle your data

KPItics helps managers and coordinators understand how their team is doing. That means we're trusted with real names, real numbers, and real earnings, and we take that seriously. Here's exactly what we do with your data, in plain English. If anything here doesn't make sense, just email us and we'll explain it properly.
What we collect
- Report data you upload. Names, terminal activity, retention rates, payment figures, and everything else in the reports you upload or enter by hand.
- Your account details. Your name, email, and role.
- Promotion and payout data. The reward rules you set up, and what gets earned from them.
- Basic usage data. Just enough to keep the app running smoothly and to fix things when they break.
- Payment details, handled by Paystack. We never see or store your card number. We only find out when a payment goes through.
How we use it
We use your data for one thing: running KPItics for you. That means your dashboards, leaderboard, trends, alerts, and payouts, and letting you log in safely. We don't use it for ads. We don't build profiles from it. We don't do anything with it beyond making the product work.
Who we share it with
We never sell your data or rent it out. A handful of trusted providers process it on our behalf, only so the product can actually work.
- Supabase. Our database and storage provider. Your data lives here, encrypted, and only your login can ever access it.
- Our report reader.Reads the PDF reports you upload so we can pull out the numbers. It processes the file and doesn't keep a separate copy.
- Anthropic (Claude API).Powers AI Insight and the AI Assistant, if you use them. Your data only goes here when you actively ask a question, and it's used just to answer you.
- Paystack. Handles your subscription payments. Your card details go straight to them. We never touch them.
- Vercel. Hosts the app itself.
None of these companies get to use your data for their own purposes. They only touch it to help us run KPItics for you.
How we protect it
- Everything is encrypted, both while it's stored and while it's moving.
- Every manager's data is fully separate from everyone else's. It's enforced at the database level, not just in the app, so there's no way for one manager to ever see another's data, even by accident.
- You need your own login to get in.
- Your card details never touch our servers. They go straight to Paystack's secure checkout.
How long we keep it
We keep your data for as long as your account is active, so your history, trends, and payout records stay accurate. If you ever close your account, just ask and we'll delete everything.
Your rights
Want a copy of your data, or want it gone for good? Email us. We'll take care of it ourselves, no forms, no waiting around.
Cookies
We use one essential cookie to keep you logged in safely. No ad trackers, no third parties watching how you browse.
Changes to this policy
If anything meaningful changes here, we'll update the date above. If it's a big change, we'll tell you directly.
